Kirkleatham Museum, 16 Jan - 16 Jun 2026

Kirkleatham Museum
Kirkleatham Museum is the local heritage museum for the borough of Redcar and Cleveland. It is home to a treasure trove of artefacts and exhibitions, all housed in a magnificent 1709 Queen Anne building that began life as the Free School for Boys.

Kirkleatham is a brilliant place for exhibitions, and has previously hosted popular tapestry shows.

Visitors can also enjoy the beautiful grounds found around the museum. If you have youngsters who need to let off steam, they'll enjoy the adventure playground and the woodland trail! There's a café, of course, and it's open til 4 pm.

To find Kirkleatham Museum, enlarge the little map.

There is a large car park on site. Open Tue – Sun, 10:00 – 16:30.
Entry is very reasonably priced.
